This training has been developed to equip managers and team members with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the nature of difficult behaviour, reflect on personal experiences, and implement effective strategies for managing interactions with difficult people.
Participants will explore the characteristics and impacts of difficult behaviour, engage in self-reflection to improve self-awareness, and learn the TRICK framework for managing such interactions. Additionally, the training will provide practical strategies and frameworks for dealing with difficult people, and guide participants in creating an action plan for applying these strategies in their daily interactions.
This CPD workshop is suitable for people in helping, management and non-clinical roles.

- To explore the impact of difficult behaviour.
- To encourage participants to reflect on their own experiences and interactions with difficult people.

- To learn how to apply the TRICK framework to real-life scenarios and improve responses to difficult behaviour.

- To create an action plan for implementing learned strategies in daily interactions with difficult people.
- To set goals for continuous improvement and development in managing challenging relationships.
This 3-hour CPD workshop will include small and large group discussions with opportunities for participant led Q&A.
Course costs
This course can be delivered online or in-person at your premises or in The Spark’s training facility.
The course delivery costs £350 for up to 12 people, larger groups can be accommodated with an additional facilitator. Travel, venue or catering cost may apply.
